The November CARS meeting was very upbeat and full of good things. Those that were able to attend seemed enthused about what transpired. We missed those of you who could not attend!
A lot of good information presented by Your Technical Committee. Kevin (KW4B) presented to both the board and the general membership info regarding our repeaters, Echlink & the GA Conference, access for Tybee and future programs around a Fox Hunt.
The other committees all made their reports and some items to note were the Xmas Meeting Dinner, a reschedule of the Swap Meet, Officer Election Update and ballots for Ham of the Year, other future activities and some future License training classes. As these are finalized, details will be presented to the membership. Details were presented regarding this weekends ARES Digital Training Class and a discussion on a possible activation at Fort Pulaski for NPOTA.
After a break, the presentation was a round-table discussion on the activities during the recent Hurricane involving our volunteers at CEMA and the local Hospitals. This was chaired by Steve (K4SDJ) and assisted by Kevin (KW4B) and Pat (KB1WEI).
