Any actual stores or shops that sell equipment in the Savannah area?

There are none. Most folks use Ham Radio Outlet in Atlanta, Gigaparts in Huntsville AL. They both have excellent mail order and online service.

I’m also interested in the technician class. I’m currently working offshore but will be back in the area with my new radio in early April. My interest started with marine vhf but after much research I am interested in ham.

I noticed in your website that you offer classes for the licenses needed to become an amateur operator. Can you tell me when you might have the next technicians license class? Can you give me times and dates?
Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.

We plan to hold classes in February, dates to be announced. At this time we are not sure if we will be having the Tech class or the General. I will add you to our emailing list so you are in the loop.
